DEPTH PSYCHOLOGY • LIMINALITY • CONSCIOUS LIVING
My work began in private practice and has grown to encompass writing, teaching, speaking, workshops, and original bodies of work—all rooted in the same inquiry: what becomes possible when we are willing to turn toward ourselves and look honestly at what is there?
For nearly forty years, I have worked with individuals and couples through a process-oriented approach to consciousness and change. My work is largely intrapsychic, beginning with what is happening within us before looking outside ourselves for answers. By bringing awareness to the patterns, beliefs, and unresolved material shaping our experience, we can begin to relate more freely—to ourselves, to one another, and to life.
My Ph.D. in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute focused on Jungian and Liberation Psychology, with doctoral work exploring liminal space: the territory between what has been and what is becoming. This has become a central thread throughout my work, particularly with people navigating periods of transition, uncertainty, loss, and profound change.
Beyond private practice, I have spent decades translating these ideas into writing, workshops, and talks that make complex psychological and philosophical concepts useful in everyday life. I am the creator of MESHE, HESHE, MISON & ORBIT, an original body of work exploring the interwoven relationships of self, life, and other, and the author of MESHE, HESHE, MISON & ORBIT: What My Grandmother Taught Me About the Universe. I have been writing and teaching on these ideas since 1985.
Across every form the work takes, the intention remains the same: to help people uncover what is true, deepen their relationship with themselves and others, and discover that they are capable of meeting whatever life brings..
